FUN SHOOT ONLY***NON-COMPETITIVE***LOW ENTRY FEE
OFFERS AN INTRODUCTION TO SPORTING CLAYS WITH EASY TARGET PRESENTATIONS
5 SHOOTERS WILL WIN 4 BOXES OF SHOTGUN SHELLS - BY LUCKY DRAWING
SHOOT IS OVER IS LESS THAN 2 HOURS
Peace Dale offers these mini shoots to
give those shooters that don't wish to be tied down to weekly leagues or time
consuming tournaments with costly travel expenses and high entry fees, a chance
to compete in a fun event that has a slight tournament atmosphere. Mini shoots
offer a casual adventure for friends and family to get together for a fun
afternoon of shooting. It's a great way to introduce new shooters to the sport,
without discouraging them before they really get a chance to find out how much
fun it can be. Mini Shoots offer a chance for the advanced, competitive shooter
to practice easy targets, the ones we always seem to miss during those major
tournaments. These shoots offer the easiest possible target presentations at an
inexpensive cost.
To be eligible for the $25 pre-entry, your
pre-registered name must be on the sign-up list by (7 PM)
the night before the shoot. Those entering the day of the shoot, the entry fee
is $30. Call (401) 789-3730
All Mini Shoots are always held on Saturdays
and have a (11PM) shotgun start and will finish before (1 PM). Anyone
shooting a score of 40 or higher, automatically qualifies for our September Mini
40's Club Shoot-off, which offers a few hundred $$ in prizes, divided to
Champion and Runner-up in each of 4 equal (known ability) levels of the total
participants.
A (participant drawing) raffle is held after
each shoot with prizes of 4 boxes of shotgun shells awarded to five lucky
shooters. As there are no awards for scores, everyone has the same chance to be
a winner in these drawings. Any person shooting a 50/50 during the (14) Mini
Shoots will be eligible to shoot in a special shoot-off held at the Mini 40's
Shoot-off.
Why Mini Shoots are so
inexpensive?
Peace Dale can keep entry fees at the
lowest possible cost to the shooters because a minimum number of traps and
trappers are utilized. We reserve the right to assign up to 9 shooters in a
squad of which 6 stations could accommodate up to 54 and a 7th station could
accommodate up to 63. By pre-registering, you can help us to prepare more
stations in advance of the shoot. Remember, showing up at the last minute delays
the shoot for everyone.
